Chapter 1: Interrupted Battle >>>> By Mae (Iari)

Drizzt looked around, trying to understand what had happened. He had his scimitars un sabled at his sides, dirty with blood, cause he had been fighting.

He was in a huge circular room, of a totaly unknown material for him. It was totaly white.

He was alone. Only a few seconds ago, he was in the middle of battle, surounded by orcs and trolls, figthing with an enemy. It had been a fierce and difficult fight. Odd thing, cause it wasn't normal for Drizzt to found a Warrior that were as good as he was.

So, he get really surprised when, suddently, with a deafening noise, the battle and his opponent had vanished in the air, and he had appeared in there.

A single door opened behind him, but nobody came in. No one had opened that door, it has opened itself alone.

Carefuly, and with his scimitars still out of their cases, he get closer to the door.

...

As that happened, in the battle field, a blond and handsome young man, with piercing grey eyes, in his twenties, keep looking for his opponent in the air, were he was only a few seconds ago, waking his twin swords here and there, trying to run through him.

His name was Mirkan, and he was sure about what had happened: His opponent had used a dirty drow trick to run away from the combat.

Coward.

It was not what the figther expected from an expert skilled swordsman with Drizzt's fame. Deep inside, Mirkan still expected Drizzt to sudently reapear, from the back, from the sides, or even from the front, with a battle scream, and continue the combat.

But the dark elf just was in nowhere.

When Mirkan understanded the dwor will not reapear, he screamed with fury and throwed one of his swords to the floor with so much strength that the half of the blade stayed buried in the ground.

Just like in Drizzt, the slender appearance of the young man contradicted his strenght. If anybody thinked that that young, tall and slender boy was not really strong, would recieve an expensive lesson for his mistake.

A very expensive lesson.

Once ended his fury, Mirkan released the sword with a strong pull, and then, screamed to the orcs around him:

-Forward! Lets continue until we have all this people under the master's control!-

The multitude roared around him, and they folowed him, and they charge against the city, already burning, and against the rest of the fighters.

-With or without you, drow.- murmured the young man.- this village, this city and everything what's left in the forgotten Realms is going to be conquered by the master's strenght. And if anyone dares to confront me, is going to descover what the real master's aprentice is able to do! No matter if he's human, elve or halfling or dwarf, he will soon understand the horror that brings Mirkan's anger!!!!!!!!!-
